Public opinion surveys of older adults indicate that the vast majority of seniors desire to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. But, there is still may be a time when many mature homeowners choose to change residences. For some,  the decision to leave is based on lifestyle changes. One impetus to move might be to find a location with a different climate or to an active retirement community, the move might be based on new limitations in mobility created by a physical or health-related conditions. There is also a tendency for some to move back from a retirement community to an area close to their children or other loved ones.
